About Great Gifts for Dog Lovers

We're a small independent team of dog owners who got tired of gift lists that show the same fifty generic "dog mom" products to everyone. People don't shop for a dog — they shop for their dog. So we organise everything by breed.

Each breed page is a short ranked shortlist of specific Amazon listings chosen for that breed's owner, with a line on each explaining why it fits. We keep the lists short on purpose. A hundred lookalike listings is a search results page, not a recommendation.

We research one breed at a time and only publish a guide once we've opened every listing on it ourselves, so a new breed appears when its shortlist is done rather than on a schedule. Product artwork on our guides is our own illustration, labelled as such — we don't republish sellers' photography. When we get something wrong, tell us and we'll change the guide.
